【1】Tomo's university life

Tomo has experienced moving 15 times in his life, including moving overseas. He is currently a student at Yokohama National University, where he is actively involved in several club activities and serves as the vice-captain of the bottle cap baseball club. In this issue, we introduce Tomo's university life through an interview article written by a student at the university.

Bottle cap baseball and bottle cap throwing are new sports that are becoming popular mainly among university and high school students. These sports make use of everyday plastic bottle caps. Consider giving the new sports a try yourself after watching the videos! Something unique to Japanese culture may be seen in these new sports, which were invented by Japanese students.

k) You are an exchange student at Tomo's university, and you meet him through "105." You want to recommend Tomo to be the chairperson of the executive committee of the university festival. Write a recommendation letter to the committee explaining why Tomo is suitable as the chairperson.

今までの人生で15回もの引っ越しを経験し、海外経験もあるともさん。ともさんは今、横浜国立大学の学生で、キャップ野球の副代表を務めるなど、数々の部活やサークル活動を行っています。今回は、同大学の学生のインタビュー記事を元に、ともさんの大学生活を紹介します。

また、キャップ野球・キャップ投げは、最近、大学生を中心にサークルなどが増えている新しいスポーツです。手軽に手に入るペットボトルのキャップでできるので、実際にやってみてください。日本の学生が考案したキャップ投げという新しいスポーツに何か日本を感じられるかもしれません。
