Entrance ceremony

The entrance ceremony is held in April at the beginning of the new school year. Newly enrolled students gather with their parents, teachers and others, and a representative of the current student body, the school principal, and guests of honor welcome them with speeches. In some junior and senior high schools, the students in higher grades hold a special welcome ceremony after the entrance ceremony or invite new students to join school clubs, etc.
