The second Sho dynasty
第二尚氏王朝
だいにしょうしおうちょう
Established by Sho En in 1470, following the first Sho dynasty founded by Sho Hashi in 1429. Lasted about four hundred years until 1879, when the Japanese government brought the Ryukyu kingdom to an end and announced the establishment of Okinawa prefecture. Sho En(1415-1476) was born on Izenazima.
