Hello.
My name is Annie, and I am 15 years old, currently studying
in Killara High School, in Sydney Australia. I came from
Guangzhou, China, and when I was 11 years old, my family
and moved to Australia. My favorite country is Japan, and
that's why I am learning Japanese, I especially love the
cherry blossoms in Japan, because they give me a very warm,
and magical, unexplained feeling. I also like the traditions
and cultures of Japan, because some of them are different
from China. I think it's always interesting to learn new
things.
I have four members in my family, my parents, my younger
brother and me. My brother is called Victor and he was born
on the 26th March 2004, and he is 1 year old now. In my
whole family, there are 16 of ours, include my grandparents,
my mother's brothers and sisters and their sons and daughters.
Victor is the youngest, and cutest so, everyone loves him
very much.
Currently, I am living with my mum, my brother and one of
my cousins in a house in Gordon. And my dad works overseas.
He will come back about once or twice a one month or two.
My house has 5 bedrooms and a big backyard which connects
with the Gordon Golf Conserve, where sometimes me and my
cousin go and pick golf balls for fun, but we haven't done
this for a long time, because we started to think that it's
too embarrassing if someone sees us doing that. My cousin
is called Bryant, he's 20 years old and among all my 4 cousins
we are the closest. We are so close like brother and sister,
therefore I don't call him my cousin I call him my brother,
and he calls me sister too. Which makes me have an 'extra'
brother. He's currently at his first year of university
and studying commerce at Macquarie University.
Once when my younger brother was 4 months old, it was very
difficult for my mum to take care of him by herself, therefore,
she took him back to China, and left my cousin and me in
Australia. During that time, Bryant took care of me and
we always went out for dinner, because one of us was too
lazy to cook and one was too lazy to do the washing up.
We also went to watch movies and shopping together, which
we did live with co operation. For instance, sometimes I
woke up late, and missed the bus so I'd call him up and
he drove me to school, which is so good. But he didn't seem
to like it very much, and he'd always say “if you wake up
late again, I won't care about you, solve it yourself!”
which did make me sleep early and wake up early for…two
weeks, then later on…hehe.
After two terms of bread for lunch, when I see that bread
now, I'll be sick, but luckily, the Christmas holiday saved
me, and we went back to China as soon as the holiday started.
After heaps of complaining about bread lunches, my mother
decided to come back with my brother, and finally I now
have fried noodles, fried rice and different sorts of lunches
at school.
On the weekends, I go
to the college on Saturday, and go out for movies or out
with friends on Sunday, or even stay at home for assignments
(
いや!). I like to watch those
Cantonese movies that are only available in the Reading
Cinema in city. I also like to go out with friends to have
a
DRINK {A drink which I refer here means alcohol} (oh my
god, Annie is not 18 yet!!) of milk tea in those tea shops
or in Starbucks (what a bad mind! what are you thinking
about? I am talking about milk tea only! Don't think the
other way!). And my other hobby is to go back to China and
visit my daddy, my cousins and friends, but it's a bit expensive
than milk tea, so maybe I won't count it as a 'hobby' which
things I always do.
