My name in Kanji is
絢祐.
It can be read as "Kensuke," but nobody ever reads my name
correctly when he or she first meets me. I'm a junior in
high school and am turning 17 this October. I'm interested
in various things, especially clothes. My dream is to become
an international buyer in the future. In order to make my
dream come true, I now study English, listening and befriending
shop clerks; however, I feel that things don't work out
in the real world as they do in dreams.
The most interesting thing to me now is clothes. I imagine
how wonderful it would be if I could work in the apparel
industry. I think I can endure all difficulties.
Being fond of clothes, I love going shopping. I go to
Yokohama, Shibuya, and Harajyuku to explore second hand
clothing stores hoping to make a good buy.
I work part-time at Freshness Burger. I spend so much
of earned money buying clothes or commodities that I'm
often broke, but it's still fun.
I went to NY to attend the UN Student Conference in March
of this year. NY was such an exciting town that I was
excited by everything I saw everyday. I desired living
in NY in the future and dreamed about it with my mouth
half open while needing to focus on the purpose of my
visit, the conference.
Attending the conference didn't produce a good result
because I couldn't understand a lot of English. I realized
that I did not have enough knowledge of English. I'm still
bothered by it so now I'm planning to try again next year.
I need to work hard everyday for this, although I don't
like exerting myself. (laugh)
I manage to work part-time, study, and enjoy myself,
so my life is quite busy. At the same time, I really enjoy
living everyday life. Though it is my weakness to take
things lightly, I think it might be strength simultaneously.
Through my high school days and "Deai" with various people,
I'd like to become a mature and sensible person. This
is another one of my dreams.
