Listening to music
Favorite words/phrases
"No music, no life" [Life would be nothing without music]
What is most important to me
I can't live without music! It's great because regardless
of what I'm doing, listening to music can fill me with energy,
make me feel sad, or fill me with delight.
What I enjoy most
I'm really interested in what I can do to become rich. I
also want to master the art of wearing make-up while looking
like I'm not wearing any.
What kind of person I am
I'm super-selfish and short-tempered. Once I lose it, I
have no idea what I'm doing until I calm down. Also, I'm
a very stubborn person and even when I'm wrong, I don't
easily admit it!
Future ambition
I can't wait to become independent and work. I want to become
a police officer and solve cases. I want to marry a rich
man (a company president) who will leave me in charge of
his business, and I want to be on the list of the top millionaires
(choja banzuke) in the country. When I'm about
sixty years old, I'll give up my position as company executive
and travel the world with my husband.
Working part-time at a shrine this year, I was greeting
people, saying "Happy New Year," when a woman with a really
striking smile replied, "Happy New Year." I thought to myself
that I wanted to have a smile as lovely as hers. A nice
smile is something to be treasured. It gives people a positive
impression of yourself and everybody will like you!
So my goal for this year is to become a woman with a beautiful
smile. I'm working hard on facial exercises now. Don't grimace
at me when I come to you in six months and say, "Look! Look!
Look!" to show you how much I've changed!
I get to go to Hawaii I on a training trip this year. How's
that? A lot of celebrities go to Hawaii. I'm really looking
forward to it. I'll be doing a homestay, and since I want
to be buddy-buddy with my host family, I'll need to start
studying English now. What I'm looking forward to the most
is shopping. I've already decided what I'm going to buy!
I'll be purchasing Hawaiian jewelry. This is what I've worked
so hard at my part-time job for. A little shopping won't
hurt, will it??!
