My name is Susan. I was born in America, on April 21, 1988. I am 16 years old now. My birthday is coming soon. My parents are Korean, so I have Korean citizenship and speak both English and Korean. Being Christian, I go to church every Sunday. I work as a part-time worker twice a week. I am always busy.

      I am a senior student in Madison West High School. I’ve studied Japanese for 3 years. My favorite subject is Art because I love art. I’m not good at it yet, though. I join many clubs such as drumming, cheerleading, and JNHS. It is not cheerleading season now, so I currently on a break. JNHS is a club which only smart people can join.

      I went to Washington to join a drumming club’s parade on April 9th. I played drums there. There were people from Okinawa, and their performance was quite good. It was very exciting to play drums with them.

      Since I am Korean, my family lives in Korea. I went to Korea to see my family and friends last winter. With my family and friends, I hung out and went to a concert. I also went to San Diego last summer and stayed at my mother’s friend’s place. I went to Sea World with my mother’s friend’s family, and it was fun. Also, I went to the sea with my big sister’s friend. It was a very beautiful place.

      I have many hobbies such as shopping, crafting, and painting. I also like singing and sing everyday. Though my big sister yells at me, I don’t care and keep singing.

      There are 3 people in my family. I live with my mother and big sister in an apartment building. My sister’s name is Clara, and she is 18 years old. Though she is older than me, she sometimes depends on me. She and I go to school every day together since we both go to the same school. My mother’s name is ヒージュン. She is a wonderful housewife and good at cooking; she is my favorite person in the world. My father passed away last winter. I lead a busy life because I don’t want to think about his death.
