My
parents named me Ashley. With my last name starting with
the letter A, I have acquired the nickname AAA, like the
travel insurance company. I don’t mind. In fact, my two
sisters have names that start with the letter A too, Amanda
and Amy. We even have a dog whose name starts with an A,
Addie. My favorite color is blue and I love stars. I live
with my Mom and Dad and my two sisters.
In my free time I enjoy
sleeping, eating and playing soccer. I have played soccer
for eleven years. In high school I have been on the junior
varsity and varsity teams. I am always hanging out with
my friends. We prefer to go bowling and then out to eat
for a late night snack at IHOP. Yummy. On weekends we go
and see movies and hang out at each other’s houses. When
I am done with high school I want to become a teacher and
attend St. Norbert College in Green Bay.
I have grown up in the
city of Menasha all my life. I have never moved into a different
house or had any new neighbors move in by me. My white quad
level house resides on a corner. We have a fairly decent
sized yard for my dog, Addie to run around in. It is always
neatly mowed, and very green. Our neighborhood is fairly
quite and very safe to live in. Everyone pretty much minds
his or her own business and is very nice.
My first two and a half
years of high school have been awesome. I love all of the
freedoms that we have. There are a ton of new kids to get
to know and many activities to be involved in.
As a freshman I met
many new kids and had a lot of fun. I was in band, accelerated
English, math, earth science three, and all those good classes.
I remember that there were twenty-eight girls in my English
class and only four boys. Earth science bored me ever so
greatly. I am just not interested in rocks and dirt. Health
class was interesting, but sometimes more than I ever wanted
to know. Of course I had health class right before lunch.
Half way through my
freshman year I got my braces on. I was not thrilled at
all because most of my friends had already had them. I cannot
wait to get them off! Hopefully by June of 2005 I will be
all done and have pearly whites once again.
At the end of the year
my oldest sister Mandy graduated from high school. She was
sad to be leaving but excited to pursue her life elsewhere.
Mandy had a big graduation party in which all of her friends
and family came. They all played volleyball and ate themselves
to a point where they had to add another hole in their belts.
She is now attending Marquette University and majoring in
Medical science. My sister Amy will be attending the University
of Green Bay in the fall of this year. She wants to become
a lawyer some day.
