My
name is Eric. I am not sure why my parents named me Eric, but I like my name
nevertheless. I live with my mom, dad, older sister Ann and dog Abbey. I was
born in Neenah, but moved to Menasha when I was very little. I have lived
in the same house for sixteen years and see no reason for
leaving. Though I am very quiet and shy, I have an out going personality and
I am always there to help when I can.
I live in a medium house,
on a block, which no one can find. In other words, I live
in a very quiet neighborhood. My favorite room is my room
because it is like my own private sanctuary. My second favorite
room is the basement because that’s where my Xbox is. My
mom, Elizabeth, does CT scanning for St. Elizabeth Hospital.
My dad, John, just recently graduated from college and is
now an Urologist at Affinity. My sister is a senior at Menasha
High School and soon will be moving away to Carroll College
where she hopes to become a physical therapist.
                            I go to Menasha High
School and am, now, a junior. I went to Maplewood Middle
School and Clovis Grove Elementary School. My favorite subject
is science because it’s just fascinating to me. I have one
more year of high school before I go off to college. I am
an outstanding scholar, getting straight A’s in all my classes.
I, also, participate in sports. I’m on the Cross Country
and Track team. Not only do I balance school and sports,
but I balance a job as well. During the summer, I work as
a lifeguard for the Menasha Pool. During the winter, I still
work as a lifeguard, but for the Neenah-Menasha YMCA. Sure
it’s hard work, but I can handle it nevertheless.
                            I have so many hobbies;
I don’t know where to start. I love to swim. My best strokes
are Freestyle and Breaststroke. As a matter of fact, I have
spent my first year of high school on the Boys swim team.
I really enjoy reading, especially graphic novels like
One
                      Piece,
Shaman King, and
Naruto. I
also enjoy reading novels from my favorite author Brian
Jacques. Huge portions of my day consist of me playing Xbox
in the basement. When I’m not playing games, I’m practicing
my instrument. I play the violin and have been doing so
for 9 years. I am part of the Menasha High School Orchestra,
which is really fun. Television is another one of my favorite
hobbies. I enjoy shows such as The Simpsons, Family Guy,
and a number of Saturday morning cartoons.
                            I enjoy music more than
anything in the world. I enjoy listening to the 80’s, rock
and roll, and hip-hop. My favorite singer is Bruce Springsteen.
My favorite color is blue. My favorite food is pizza. As
for the future, I plan on going to college and majoring
in Forensic Science and hopefully, I will become a Crime
Scene Investigator, which is what I want to be someday.
