My name is Jim. I was born on December 7th, 1987 in Neenah, Wisconsin. I now live in Menasha Wisconsin. I am currently seventeen years old and a junior in Menasha high school. I spent all of my life so far in Menasha. I have lived in three different homes in my life, but now I reside on Home Avenue.
      I live with both my parents and my little brother John. My father, Pat, works in a mill in Menasha. My mother, Lori, works in the kitchen at Clovis Grove elementary school. My brother, John, is a year younger then me. Every summer my family usually goes on vacation. We have gone to Canada, North Dakota, and Pennsylvania, just to name a few. My extended family lives in the Fox Valley for the most part. This includes my cousin Tyler who is in the same grade as me. Tyler is in a lot of my classes and we have gotten to be pretty close.
      I began my schooling at Clovis Grove Elementary School. This is also where I began to learn Japanese. I had Japanese class a couple of times a week. I have continued to learn Japanese ever since kindergarten. In elementary school I was very protected. My house was across the street and my mom worked at the school. This was very convenient when I forgot to get a permission slip signed. After fifth grade I moved on to the middle school. This part of my life was basically uneventful. All I can really remember doing was playing football and basketball.
      In high school things seemed to change. A lot of kids realized that high school was more serious then prior years of schooling. I continued to play basketball and football. I was the captain of my JV basketball team my sophomore year. This was the last year that I played however. I still play football. I started on the varsity team my junior year. Football is a very demanding sport. We have to work out almost every day after school to get ready for the season. The season starts in the middle of August. For the first week we are there from 8 A.M. until 2 P.M. In addition to playing sports I like to watch them on T.V. I especially like watching college basketball, football, and baseball. I also like to play sports video games such as Madden, NBA Live, and MVP baseball.
      My future goals are pretty common when compared to other people. I want to go to college and get a good job. I also want to get married and own a house. I would consider myself to be a pretty good student. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and I am taking several advanced classes. I hope that these academic achievements will help me in the future. Hopefully this will help me get into a good college, which, in turn, will help me get a good job. This is my main goal for the future.
