じこしょうかいをします
はじめまして。私の名前はレベッカです。みんなには“ベッカ”と呼ばれています。今十七才です。かぞくは四人で母と父といもうととわたしです。私たちはアメリカのWashingtonにすんでいます。町の名前はBremertonです。私のしゅみはいろいろありますが音楽を聞いたり空手をしたり本を読んだりしを書いたりするのです。日本の一番好きなおんがくはLarc~en~CielやMiyaviやGacktです。アニメも大好きです。どうぞよろしくおねがいします。
大学のしゅつがん
さいきん大学のしゅつがんのじゅんびをひっしにしています。二かしょに大学でしゅつがんをするつもりです。二かしょともの大学でじょうきゅうプログラムにもうしこむつもりです。私のせいせきがまあまあじょうずですからしょうだくするかのうせいが悪くないです。しゅつがんほうほうはむずかしいですからストレスがいっぱいです。一番はいりたいの大学のこのみはUniversity of Washingtonでこうないはきれいでシアトルが大好きです。そして日本語のプログラムがゆうめいです。来年私はあそこで住んでいたい。私はしょうだくするのがきたいします。
最近
University
of Washingtonの入学の知らせをうけとって、うんが良くてうかった！ことしの十月の始めに大学のせいかつをしゅっぱつするつもりです。
私のペット
一年前に鳥を買いました。かなりかんがえぬいた後で鳥の名前をきめます。鳥の名前はエアルです。エアルはかわくてうるさい鳥。私はエアルにいろいろなげいをおしえました。エアルはかたの上にすわったりしているけどときどきふくをかんだり悪いことをしたりします。エアルはさびしい時かごにうろうろとあるきまわります。いつも“ミイプー”と言います。私はエアルのあたまをなでる時エアルはうれしくなります。元気が良い鳥ですが私が気にいらないのは食べ物と水をとりかえしなければなりません。
一番好きな食べ物
私の一番好きな食べ物はスパゲティーです。一月一回ぐらいにスパゲティーを食べます。かぞくといっしょにスパゲティーを食べる時とくべつのできごとになります。自分のかぞくのスパゲティーレシピはおいしい食べ物です。スパゲティーをつくる時まずスパゲティーのめんるいと水をふっとうします。めんるいはやわらかくなる時水からだします。そのあとでバターをつけます。つぎはべつななべにスパゲティーのちょうみりょうとトマトペーストカップ二はいといっしょにあつくします。そのあとで水を四カップ半とバター大さじ三ばいを入れます。ぜんぶでソースのざいりょうをまぜて二十ぷんほどとろびでとろとろにます。おわりにめんるいの上にソースをかけます。母のスパゲティーの作り方は一番おいしいです。レストランのスパゲティーがきらいです。
一番好きな所
私は一番好きなところはシアトルです。シルバデルからシアトルまでフェリーで一時間ぐらいかかります。シアトルのパイクプライスマーケットはとてもすばらしいですよ！いつもいろいろな人がいます。女性も男性のせいひんもうっていて、そこをのぞくが好きです。そしてマーケットのくだものややさいはとてもおいしいです。よくかってかえります。ある魚やがせかいの有名なみせです。そこのじゅうぎょういんたちはきゃくが魚をえらんだら、その魚をてんいんになげ魚をほうそうします。シアトルのかいがんもきれいです。ステキなおみやげやとぎょかいるいのレストランがおいしいです。とくにアイバズレストランという所は一番にんきです。シアトルのやきゅうのチームはマリナーズです。マリナーズは気がくるったファンがたくさんいますからしあいに行くとわくわくします。そしてプロのやきゅうのしあいの食べ物はおいしいとどくとくの食べ物です。母は大ファンでしあいをテレビでも見ます。ことが出来る時にセーフィコスタジアムでしあいを見に行きます。よるにフェリーからシアトルのけしきがすばらしいです。ふだん二月に一回シアトルへ行きます、でももっと行けたらいいと思っています。
Conclusion
私は五年前に日本語を勉強し始めたから日本に興味をずいぶんもっています。上手じゃないですけど未来に日本を行きたいとおもっています。

Self-introduction
Hello. My name is Rebecca.
Everyone calls me Becca, and I am seventeen years old. There
are four people in my family: my mother, my father, my younger
sister, and me. We live in Washington State in the US, in
a city called Bremerton. I have a lot of hobbies, but I especially
like listening to music, karate, reading, and writing poetry.
My favorite Japanese singers are L'Arc~en~Ciel, Miyavi, and
Gackt. I also like anime.
College Applications
Recently I've been working hard at my college
applications. I plan to apply to two colleges. I'm applying
for the advanced program at both schools. My grades aren't
too bad, so I have a pretty good chance of being accepted.
College applications are difficult, so I'm feeling stressed
out. My first choice is the University of Washington, which
has a beautiful campus and is in Seattle, a city I love. It
also has a famous Japanese language program. Hopefully next
year, I'll be living there. I hope I am accepted.
Recent Developments
Fortunately, I received an acceptance letter
from the University of Washington! I will begin life at college
in the beginning of this coming October.
My Pet
I bought a bird a year ago. I decided
on its name, エアル, after much thought. エアルis a cute but noisy
bird. I've taught him many tricks. Whenエアルis sitting on my
shoulder, he misbehaves by biting my clothes. When he is lonely,
エアルwanders around in his cage. He always cries, "meepoo".
When I pet エアル's head, he seems very happy. エアルis a lively
bird, but I don't like having to feed him and change his water.
Favorite Food
My favorite food is spaghetti.
I eat it about once a month. In our family, eating spaghetti
is a special event. We have a delicious family recipe. First,
we boil the spaghetti in water. When the spaghetti becomes
soft, we take it out of the water, and add butter to the spaghetti.
In a separate pan, we heat up two cups of tomato paste and
seasonings. We then add four and a half cups of water and
three tablespoons of butter to the sauce. We simmer the sauce
on a low flame for about twenty minutes, then pour it over
the spaghetti. My mother's spaghetti is the best. I don't
like spaghetti that's served in restaurants.
Favorite Place
My favorite place is Seattle. From Silverdale,
it takes about an hour by ferry to get there. The Pike Place
Market in Seattle is wonderful! It's always full of different
people. They sell things for both women and men, and I like
looking around. The fruits and vegetables sold there are delicious,
too, and I often buy some to take home. There's a world-famous
fish shop there. When a customer orders a fish, the staff
throws the fish to another staff member to have it wrapped.
The beaches in Seattle are also beautiful. There are lovely
gift shops and restaurants that serve delicious seafood. Ivar's
is the most popular seafood restaurant. Seattle has a baseball
team called the Mariners. They have lots of crazy fans, so
it's always exciting to go see games. Also, the food sold
at professional baseball stadiums is delicious and unique.
My mother is a big baseball fan and watches games on television,
too. When we get a chance, we go to Safeco Field to watch
games. At night, the view of Seattle from the ferry is quite
a sight. I usually go to Seattle about once every two months,
but wish I could go more often.
Conclusion
Since I started studying Japanese five
years ago, I've had a great interest in Japan. My Japanese
is not very good, but I would like to visit Japan sometime
in the future. |

Ooishi
Kanta is an interesting individual. I like how his high school
is so different from mine. I can also relate to his love of
books.
