Self Introduction
My
name is Ruosi. I was born on March 27, 1988 at 9:30 in
the morning. I'm a first year student at the Changchun
number 11 high school in Jilin, China. Personally, I have
lots of different faces. I'm a very serious girl, but I'm
also mischievous like boys. Bright, clear, and optimistic,
I can be friends with lots of people. Also, I'm persistent,
strong-willed, and I believe the strength of my ideas will
lead me to success.
From elementary school to middle school, every semester
was selected as a “Sanhao Student” (a student who excels in morals,
studying, and health—there isn’t a system like this in high school),
worked as a class committee member, and was a good assistant to my
teacher. I loved to study and I felt that learning was fun so my grades
were always good.
My figure as you see in the pictures is a bit fat, but I’m
not a perfect circle yet, am I? (hehe) But, I was thinner before.
When I was five I learned how to dance. In elementary school I was
the leader of our ballet team, I was the representative for public
performances in the community, and I’ve also appeared on TV. But,
unfortunately, when I was in my sixth year of elementary school, when
I was swinging in a hammock, the rope broke and I fell to the ground
and broke my tail bone. Because of that, I can no longer participate
in any strenuous activities and my life in ballet has come to an end.
When I entered middle school, I got so busy with studying that I didn’t
have time to exercise and I slowly became fatter. What’s more, I’m
a good eater as well. Slimming down? Well...it’s kind of impossible,
isn’t it? It’s kind of embarrassing, but...
My Hobby is Music
I can play the accordion. But the piano is really my
forte, I’m planning to take the Central Music Institute’s level 9
(the highest level) exam in the summer of 2005. Ever since elementary
school, the piano and the accordion have been my ways of playing,
they are like a light boat, carrying me with ease and composure across
the ocean of music. The composers I like the most are Beethoven and
Chopin, I can play Beethoven’s Moonlight
Sonata, Chopin’s Puppy Waltz,
as well as few of their other famous pieces. I think it would be
great if we had a chance to enjoy the fascination of classical music
together sometime. I also love drawing pictures, especially watercolors.
The works I took a picture of are all things I’ve painted myself.
I also love swimming and badminton as well as watching movies
and reading books about Sci-Fi and history. I prefer things that
are sentimental, delicate, and beautiful. I think that any girl is
an angel. Even though I may not be pretty, I have wings that can
carry me into the sky!
This is me. I have the light of the sun, so I’m bright!
My Family
This is a picture I took of everyone in my family. My
little brother and little sister are cute, aren’t they?
Also, there’s a picture of me, my father, my mother, and
my grandmother. My parents are government workers.
My second uncle’s family lives in Chicago in America, my
uncle is an M.D. doing research on the treatment of diabetes! I really
respect my uncles. My third uncle’s family lives in Tokyo in Japan.
In 1997 he became a citizen of Japan. Now, he is an official in a
company. These two uncles have been in foreign countries for a long
time, and they only come home during New Year’s, so we all miss them. |
