My name is Xiaoda. Everyone! Hello!!
I love Mount Fuji. I'm 17 years old and in my second year of high
school.
I'm a Chinese person named Xaioda. I'm a second year high school
student at Jilin's Changchun Number 11 High School. I'm a good girl.
I really like myself and I want to be friends with lots of people.
I have lots of pen pals and friends I've met on the net and I feel
lonely. I happy live each day to the fullest.
When I was in middle school, I started studying Japanese and became
really interested in Japan. My father is Korean and my mother is Chinese.
China is a country with a lot of different people and everyone gets
along very well. But it's too bad that I can't speak Korean at all.
My grandmother taught it to me when I was a kid, but when I got older
I forgot it all. Studying Japanese is fun though. I also studied English
for a bit in my second year of middle school, but the really important
one for me is Japanese.
Every day I'm really busy with studying, I always go to bed really
late. There are hard times as well, but I make the most of them. There's
also pressure over my college entrance exams but my mother, father,
and friends are all supporting me, so I do my best. I've got to study
harder so that I don't let down everyone's hopes.
I love all sorts of ethnic Japanese things like judo and kabuki,
and I also think that the beautiful sakura trees and Mount Fuji are
great.
Generally I like music like R&B. It's upbeat music, so I think
it's a really good fit for people my age. I really like moving
around and being active. For me, being constrained is the worst. I
always want to be free. I love beautiful colors and everything in this
world.
I'm participating in the Deai Photo Essay Cafe because I'm really interested
in Japan. I want to try to go to Japan and really get a feel for its culture,
to see Mount Fuji and the sakura's flowers, and to visit the shrines.
I love Japanese manga. Girl's (shoujo) manga is really very pretty.
They're all about romance, but you see a lot of that in the world as
well, don't you?
That's all from me, one of China's high school students. If you
liked me, I hope that we can become friends and maybe meet one day.
Thank you very much.
