Hello, my name is Leisa. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am an 18 year old senior at Durango High School. I was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Kalamazoo is beautiful, and quiet. Las Vegas is noisy, dangerous, and hot. Therefore, I like Kalamazoo better than Las Vegas. I left Kalamazoo and went to Las Vegas when I was three.
      I have two younger brothers, two older brothers and a sister-in-law. My brothers seem bad but they are nice and fun.
      My sister-in-law’s name is Tiffani. I like hanging out with Tiffani because she is wonderful and fun. Tiffani and I go to the shopping mall together. She likes buying clothes and I like buying video games, movies and books.
      My dad is smart, quiet, and tall. My mom is loud and short.
      I don’t see my father’s parents often because they live in Kalamazoo, Michigan. However, I saw them two years ago because it was my grandparent’s 50th wedding anniversary. I went to Kalamazoo and saw many relatives and friends.
      I see my grandma, on my mother’s side, often because she lives in California. My family goes to Disneyland for free because my grandmother used to work at Disneyland. I like buying gifts at Disneyland shops.
      I like sushi, anime, manga, and video games. My older brother and I go and eat sushi. In our family we are the only ones who like eating sushi.
      I think Fushigi Yuugi, Fruits Basket, and Fullmetal Alchemist manga are interesting.
      Final Fantasy VII is the most fun video game in the world. Final Fantasy music is the most beautiful music. At age 13 I started playing video games. In 2002, at school, a girl was talking about Final Fantasy VII. Her name is Sarah. I said “I love Final Fantasy VII and I have the game.” Sarah asked “Really? You have the game? In 3D?” I said “Yes, I have the game. You can come to my house and play it.”  Sarah said “It seems like it will be fun!”  We became best friends because we both like video games. We played video games everyday. In 2003, on Halloween, I was Tifa from Final Fantasy VII. Sarah was Rikku from Final Fantasy X. It was fun!
      I work at a floral shop with Tiffani. Working at a floral shop is fun because I meet interesting people.  I’m learning flower designing at the floral shop. I began working at the floral shop when I was fifteen. I must work because in February I bought a car. My car is a 1999 Toyota Corolla.
      I began learning Japanese when I was a freshman. I wanted to learn Japanese because I like Final Fantasy games. I want to become a Japanese interpreter because now I love learning Japanese. I must study often because I think that learning kanji is difficult. Kanji seems difficult because a lot of kanji seems the same. I intend to study often because I want to learn kanji. I want to travel to Japan because Japan seems wonderful. I want to climb Mt. Fuji also.
