On
December 2nd, 2005, my family and I went to an
origami
workshop downtown. The reason we went is because my Japanese
teacher at school asked if I would help volunteer. This
would help random people from the community on their paper
folding skills. Once we got downtown, we parked very close
to The World Trade center, and then entered it. It was
on the 3rd floor of the building and once we got into the
room we were greeted with a hello. They asked my name and
school. Once I told them my name and school I got some
happy coats to ware. I was assigned to the decretive box
origami. This project took around an hour to an hour and
a half and it was very fun. Last year I did this too. I
hope next year I can help again, it was a very enjoyable
time that helped out people too.
When I was six I dressed up as a ninja turtle for Halloween.
This costume included shoes, shorts, a shield, and a mask.
I remember this day very vividly because we didn’t go out
to a Halloween costume store, but my mom and I actually
created it. It was pretty fun that year, getting candy
and going around house to house. Even now my friends and
I either paints our faces with washable paint or just buy
some corny Dracula costume. I would have to say that Halloween
is my favorite holiday.
The third picture was taken a few years ago after my friend,
nick, and I were done playing computer games. We thought
it would be fun just to take a few pictures to remember
the day. Also, Nick wanted the see his new, green alien
ware computer in the background. I remember that day a
lot because right after we took a few pictures of ourselves
we couldn’t figure out how to put the pictures on to the
computer. We tried a few times, but just couldn’t quite
put the memory chip in the right way, I guess. It was a
fun day and whenever I go over to his house we basically
do the same things, which isn’t a bad thing at all.
