| "I'm excited about what we're doing today." This is during a school excursion (ido kyoshitsu) to Yumigahama (Minami-Izumachi, Shizuoka prefecture). Here we are having "morning homeroom" on the beach. We make a three-day/two-night school excursion once a year for nature observation and other outdoor activities. The 5th graders go to the foothills of Mt. Fuji (Oshino-mura, Yamanashi prefecture) and the 6th graders go to Yumigahama. |
