After five days of photographing in the hot summer sun, the project enters its final phase. The participants stayed up late discussing selections for their final presentation, writing captions, etc.
Detailed notes on the order of the 25 final photos, and how they will be presented.
Even the teams from whom laughter could always be heard seem tense right before their presentation.
Participants rehearse their presentations—to be conducted in Japanese—over and over again.
While the high school students rehearse, the 4 team photographers prepare panels to be exhibited at the presentation venue.
The presentations and farewell party finally begin. Cheers!
Visitors poring over the exhibit of selected photographs.
Each team gives their presentation in front of the screen. The projects do not look at all like they had been produced in a short period of time by teams of students from different places who had only recently met.
After the presentations, everyone looks relieved.
