今日は交流会なので、お昼にバーベキューをしました。校内でバーベキューができるなんて、北海道の学校ならではのぜいたくなことだと思います。
ふだんのお昼は、みんなおべんとうを持ってきます。寮生には寮の食事係のおばさんがおべんとうを用意してくれます。1年生の寮生は、4時間めの授業終了とともに教室をとびだし、玄関に置いてあるおべんとうを多目的ホールへ運んで、寮生に渡します。もちろん先輩優先です。食べおわったら、12時55分までに各自おべんとう箱をホールへ持っていくことになっています。そして、1年生の寮生は空になったおべんとう箱をまとめて玄関へ運びます。それが終わると、ほとんど毎日わたしは購買部でコーヒーを買って飲みます。

For today's student exchange, we had a barbecue. Holding a barbecue on the school grounds is a luxury you can only enjoy at a school in Hokkaido.
Our usual lunch are obento (box lunches) that we all bring with us. The dormitory cooks prepare obento for those of us who live on campus. They leave the obento for us at the entrance of the school building, and as soon as fourth hour ends, we first-year students burst out of the classroom and carry the obento to the multipurpose hall for distribution to the dormitory students. It's a matter of course that the older students get theirs first. After eating, we take our empty obento boxes back to the hall by 12:55, where the first-year students collect them and put them back at the entrance. After that, almost every day I buy a can of coffee at the school shop.
