夏休み明けから、週に3回、放課後に予備校に通っています。6時から授業が始まります。遅いときは8時45分まで授業があります。今学期が始まる前にプレースメントテストをうけました。その結果、英語はいちばん上のクラスに入りました。いちばん上のクラスは、授業料が免除される代わりに、ほかの生徒の模範となることが求められます。
予備校の授業がない日も、学校が終わると予備校の自習室で9時近くまで勉強します。おなかがすくけど、ほうっておくとそのうち空腹を感じなくなります。

Since summer vacation ended, I've been attending yobiko (prep school) classes three times a week after school. The classes begin at 6:00 p.m. and sometimes last as late as 8:45. I took a placement test for the yobiko before the current term began and as a result was put in the most advanced-level English class. For the honor of being in this class we are not charged tuition, but the tradeoff is that you are supposed to serve as model for the other students.
Even on days I don't have class at yobiko, I go there after school is over and study until about 9:00. I get hungry, but if I just keep going, I eventually forget about my stomach.
