Distribute
Worksheet
#1 along with the photograph each student held during Activity
1. Each student explains in Japanese, in the order
of Kojiro’s day, the content of the photograph. |

Structure
the questions in order to reveal the information the students need
to fill in the blanks on Worksheet
#1. If the students are unable to express the necessary
information in Japanese, assist them with appropriate phrases. |
 |
Each
student chooses one of the Deai students other than Kojiro who interests
him or her. |
 |
Group
the students according to their choices. Work out some compromises
when the numbers are markedly different. |
 |
Hand
over the set of photographs of that Deai student to the group that
chose him or her. |
 |
Members
of each group examine the set of photographs and the captions then
write the student’s daily activities in Japanese on Worksheet
#2. |
 |
Students write about the activities of their own daily lives in Japanese on Worksheet #3 as homework. |
