Me and my brother who is 7 years younger than me.

Country : Japan

Region : Tokyo

Introducing myself :

I go to a cosmopolitan high school with many students from different countries. It is good to know different ideas and perspectives from various countries, which will help to widen my views and enhance my knowledge.

I am now mostly involved in my cheerleading club activities. Cheerleading supports and entertains people with the participants’ smiles and vitality.

In Osaka, I want to take photographs of strong and warm human bonds under the theme of a “Powerful Japan.”

Me and my brother who is 7 years younger than me. I often play with him, lifting him on my shoulder. He is so cute especially when he smiles with his eyes narrowed, which is why I like him.

A cheerleading performance.
A cheerleading performance. This is my favorite photo because everyone looks really joyful and lively. I am standing on my teammate’s shoulders in the middle, holding two of my teammates’ legs.

A view of the Arakawa River from our apartment’s balcony. In the morning, it is cool with mist hanging in the air. At night, it is very beautiful with the shining lights of buildings beyond the river.

A local high school we visited on our school trip to South Korea. We tried on traditional Korean clothes, cooked Korean sweets and home-style dishes, and taught Japanese and Korean languages to each other. It was a memorable event. I am standing in the far right in Korean dress.
The Gyeonghoeru Pavilion of the Gyeongbok, an ancient Royal Palace in Korea.
The Gyeonghoeru Pavilion of the Gyeongbok, an ancient Royal Palace in Korea. The pavilion was built for national banquets and has been designated as a National Treasure. I was really moved by it’s beautiful reflection in the pond.
