John Pryor, Master of Many Arts / Thomas Xavier Borger (USA)
Message from the photographer
Throughout the period in which I photographed John he reinforced my trust in him, by his openness and willingness to cooperate with my every request. No matter how many reshoots I asked for. He kept his patients and even provided inspiration and ideas. His vast knowledge of art helped me with the birth of ideas, and the execution of them. I am amazed at his ability, and competence in many different forms of art. His variety of arts is my initial inspiration for the entire set of photographs. We have always inadvertently inspired one another. It is always an amazing experience to be able to spend any time with this up and rising artist, who ceases to amaze. I am glad to have been able to spend the time I did with this young man, who gives me the courage, and inspiration to spread my wings, and grapple new artistic mediums.
About the subject
I have known John-Thomas Pryor since I was in the first grade; we have been best friends throughout the many years. I chose John as my subject because I felt that he is the most animated, creative, and honorable person I know.
