Message from the photographer

It took me a great deal of time to persuade Vicky to be my model for the contest. In the end I promised to buy her a McFurry at McDonald and she finally said yes. Unlike many other Asian teenagers I know, Vicky is quite a unique artist. She likes to do nail design and put make up on and take pictures of herself in her spare time. Her hair was black before but she dyed them into different colors when she went back to China in the summer. After all the time I spent with her, I found out that Vicky is a really gentle and sweet girl. She's trying to find new ways to make herself look fashionable all the time. There are times of successes and failures but no matter the result is, she would always keep on trying. When Vicky was younger, she dreamed of become a make up artist. Although she had recently changed her dream into opening her own café, I still get shocked at the amount of make up and nail polishes she has. Vicky is such a unique girl and I really hope her dreams will come true.
