伊是名尚円太鼓の仲間たち

【上段中】尚円太鼓の仲間たちは、ぼくにとって第二の親であり、そしてまた、かけがえのない友だちです。ぼくの成長をあたたかく見守り、ぼくがいい方向に進んでいくように手助けしてくれます。個性的でちょっと変わった人たちが多いけれど、いっしょにいてとっても楽です。伊是名を離れてから、ぼくのことを本当の友だちとして真剣に考えてくれるこの仲間たちがかけがえのない存在であることを実感しました。
【上段左】利和さんは、尚円太鼓の会長です。だから、ときどき厳しいことも言います。生徒会長を経験してから、利和さんの苦労がわかるようになりました。
【上段右】テールは、ぼくがギターを始めるきっかけをくれた、とっても大事な人です。テールといっしょだからこそ、楽しく太鼓を打つことができます。年上として、ぼくが道をふみはずさないように、アドバイスをしてくれます。
【下段左】嘉影さんは、尚円太鼓の盛りあげ役。おもしろくて、その場の雰囲気を明るくしてくれます。
【下段中】すーちゃんは、尚円太鼓のお母さんのような存在。あたたかい人柄で、すーちゃんがいるだけでその場の空気がなごみます。パン屋さんをやっています。
【下段右】なーぎぃは、幼なじみ。高校も部活も同じです。ずっといっしょに太鼓をやってきた仲間です。太鼓を打つ動作がくやしいくらいかっこいいです。

[Top center] To me, the others in our drum group are irreplaceable friends--like a second family. They've watched over me as I've grown and helped to keep me moving in the right direction. A lot of them have unique, even pretty idiosyncratic personalities, but I feel totally at ease when I'm with them. Since moving away from Izenajima, I've come to appreciate the kind of people who sincerely regard me as a true friend.
[Top left] Toshikazu-san is the Shoen-daiko ensemble leader. That means he can be tough on us sometimes, but since I became president of the student council at school, I've come to appreciate the role he plays.
[Top right] Teru is a valued friend and the one who gave me the opportunity to take up guitar playing. It's because of him that I enjoy playing taiko so much. He's older, so he often gives me advice to keep me from getting out of line.
[Bottom left] Yoshiaki-san has the kind of infectious energy that inspires the whole group. He's got a wonderful sense of humor and always brightens the mood.
[Bottom center] Su-chan is kind of the mother figure of the troupe. She has such a warmhearted air about her that she relaxes everyone just by being around. She runs a bakery.
[Bottom right] I've known Nagi since we were little. She's in the same high school club now too, and we've been drumming together for ages. Her moves when she's drumming are so cool I'm green with envy.
