School is over
"What’ll I do when I get home . . ."
After classes are over, we have a short meeting.
I listen to my teacher while putting my textbooks in my randoseru (school satchel) and getting ready to go home.
The teacher tells us what our homework is and explains the schedule for the next day.
We take notes on our renrakucho notebooks in order not to forget our homework and the things we are supposed to bring the next day.

Notes:
The subjects studied in school changes depending on the day of the week. The chart that organizes that information is called the jikanwari (time table). Every day students look at the jikanwari and arrange their books accordingly. When they go home, they take the books that they’ve set out home with them.
