Students
choose one of the seven Deai students they would like to visit, decide what they
would like to do, and why. (If they say they don’t want to meet any of
them, wouldn’t want to go, etc., ask them to think about their reasons
and explain why.) Use "My Town" photo sheets,
their captions, and the "My Town" stories as
prompts. |

Use worksheet #1 from the Lesson Plan "Where I Live" and locate where the seven Deai students live. Ask the students what kinds of transportation they might take from their homes to the Deai student’s home. Use these questions to review and practice explaining transportation in Japanese. ![]()
